Heat Treated Fiberglass Fabric

  • Clean Surface for Coating Adhesion – Removes wax and organic residues for improved bonding with coatings.
  • High Temperature Resistance – Base fabric withstands continuous service temperatures up to 550°C–600°C (1022°F–1112°F).
  • Low Smoke & Clean Performance – Prevents smoke generation and carbonization during high-temperature applications.

Description

Heat Treated Fiberglass Fabric is a high-temperature processed fiberglass fabric designed to remove organic sizing agents, such as paraffin wax and lubricating oils, from the fiberglass surface. Through a controlled heat treatment process at 300°C–650°C (572°F–1202°F), the fabric achieves a chemically clean surface with improved coating adhesion and bonding performance.

With excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability, and low smoke characteristics, heat treated fiberglass fabric is widely used as a base material for PTFE, silicone, vermiculite coated fabrics, composite laminates, and high-temperature insulation applications.
